On the heals of Unreal Engine 4 going for a paid subscription model, I took the time to learn the ins and outs of its material system. This little project threw around the idea of a procedural first person adventure game that took Sliders and brought it into a video game environment. The project went no where but this element managed to get produced. It wasn’t functional in any way but it did capture the look and feel of the wormholes in the show.
